We could have investigated the pattern internally. Or written a generic answer on the shop page.

Instead, we asked Dr. med. Klaus Wieland for his assessment.

He is a specialist in nutritional medicine and an expert in chronic inflammatory processes.

And what he told us surprised even us, although we have been working with joint health for years.

The "silent baseline burden" when osteoarthritis treatment cannot work from the start

You might want to take a seat.

Because what's coming now is probably something no one has ever explained to you about your osteoarthritis treatment.

Here's what Dr. Wieland told us:

The most common reason why osteoarthritis treatment cannot work for some people is invisible. And very few people know about it.

We live in a world where the natural ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 in our diet has become completely out of balance.

✔ For our ancestors, this ratio was approximately 3 to 1.

✖ Today, it is 15 to 1. Often even 20 to 1.

This means: The body constantly has too much Omega-6 and too little Omega-3 available.

This creates chronic, silent inflammation throughout the body. Including around the joints.

As long as this baseline burden smolders in the body, even the best joint treatment cannot unfold its effect. No matter how high the quality of the active ingredients.

What Dr. Wieland recommends and why most people cannot implement it

Of course, we asked Dr. Wieland: What would a person have to do to reduce this chronic inflammation?

His answer was unambiguous.

First: Eat fatty wild-caught sea fish two to three times a week. Salmon, mackerel, sardine or herring. Of high quality. Because in conventional farming, the Omega-3 content is drastically reduced.

Second: Completely banish vegetable oils from the kitchen. Sunflower oil, safflower oil, corn oil, soybean oil, margarine. All of that has to go. Also be careful with salad dressings, mayonnaise, sandwich spreads and ready-made sauces. The critical Omega-6 oils are usually hidden in them.

For most of our customers, this is not feasible in practice.
